This impressive statue once stood at the center of the village, and served as a fertility symbol for the entire community. It represents the hornbilled bird, which was one of the first five creatures created by God. It was also the first creature consumed as food by humans. The swollen belly represents a pregnant woman. The beak is a phallic symbol. The smaller birds on the shoulders represent children. A museum-quality item.
