This is a very traditional casting of the head of the king (Oba). The high banded collar represented on this casting was made of pink coral on the Oba's royal regalia. The crown was made of fabric and pink coral. The Oba still reigns today. This is a 20th century casting, and is true to the form of ancient castings.
